How your message is handled (policy version 2026-07-08)
You are sending a message to this church. Barnabas stores your full name, email address, phone number and message, and shows them to the staff of this church so they can respond to you — all three contact details are required so the church can reliably reach you back.
Contacting a church can reveal information about you, including your religious context, which is special-category personal data under GDPR. We store your message only with your explicit consent, only for this church, and only for as long as needed: it is deleted automatically within 90 days after the church handles it, or within 180 days if it is never handled. If you want it removed sooner, say so in your message or contact the church directly.
To prevent abuse, we also keep a keyed, truncated hash of your network address, used only to rate-limit this form (a legitimate-interest safeguard, not part of this consent). It is deleted when your message is handled, and within 24 hours at the latest.
Your data is stored in the EU (Neon, Frankfurt) and is never routed through non-EU services.
By ticking the box below you give explicit, informed consent to this processing.
